1. A Mother’s Heartache母親的辛酸
Mary, mother of the Lord Jesus
Refer Gospel of Luke chapter 1 & 2 All the high hopes and prophecy, that a sword will pierce her heart one day - the Day Jesus was crucified
-->Bearing the Son of God in her womb: what a privilege. Enduring the suspicion and rumours of family and neighbours: what a burden.

2. A Mother’s Tears母親的眼淚
Monica, Mother of St Augustine circa 386AD.
Monica, mother of Augustine, prayed for years that her brilliant but undisciplined son would be saved. When she sought the counsel of her priest, he listened as she poured out her heart of love and her intercession for this prodigal. At the conclusion, the priest said, "Go on! Leave me alone. Live as you are living. It is not possible that the son of such tears should be lost."
Augustine was converted in the end - - one year later his mother died, knowing her son was saved....

3. A Real Mothers Day真人真事 - 有苦有樂
Real People
Real heartaches - the mother with prodigal children, those with sickness, those who have fallen into addiction, untimely death and other grief..
And those who cannot bear children due to various reason - eg genetic or circumstantial.. But one can always be a spiritual mother or father to others by bringing them to faith in Christ!


4. Conclusion - God’s love is the greatest主愛超乎一切
“ Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. (Isaiah 49:15)
