Matthew 5:3-10
3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
3 虛 心 的 人 有 福 了！ 因 為 天 國 是 他 們 的 。
4 哀 慟 的 人 有 福 了 ！ 因 為 他 們 必 得 安 慰 。
5 溫 柔 的 人 有 福 了 ！ 因 為 他 們 必 承 受 地 土 。
6 飢 渴 慕 義 的 人 有 福 了 ！ 因 為 他 們 必 得 飽 足 。
7 憐 恤 人 的 人 有 福 了 ！ 因 為 他 們 必 蒙 憐 恤 。
8 清 心 的 人 有 福 了 ！ 因 為 他 們 必 得 見 神 。
9 使 人 和 睦 的 人 有 福 了! 因 為 他 們 必 稱 為 神 的 兒 子.
10 為 義 受 逼 迫 的 人 有 福 了! 因 為 天 國 是 他 們 的 。

I. Kingdom Mindset & Kingdom Attitudes
•Mindset renewal is a continuous process – in the present continuous tense. Roman 12:1,2

What is “Poor in Spirit”? Recognizing our true Spiritual STATE
=> No one possesses enough spiritual resources to purchase God’s blessing for 2 reasons.
a. First, the price is too high
b. Second God’s sacred delight is not for sale!

2. 認定我們本來的罪性
=>上帝的恩典慈愛不是人自己能賺取的, 因為:
a. 價值太昂貴了
b. 上帝的慈愛是非賣品

3. “Mourning” is grief expressed over the loss of something meaningful to you. àRepentance of our sin is form of mourning

3. “哀慟”的意思就是為 我們的罪和過犯傷心悔改.

II. Imitate Christ – there is power in a Transformed Life! 更新的生命是最影響力的生命
4. Meekness
=> should never be confused with weakness. It is rather strength under control !

5. Hungry & thirst for righteousness
=> The quest to know God

6. => Merciful
=> The transformation into Christ-likeness continues as you extend forgiveness to those who have wronged you.

4. “溫柔”並不等於懦弱 => 而是不濫用能力或權力

5. 飢渴慕義的人 => 就是一心一意追求神旨意的人

6. 憐恤人 => 就是願意饒恕人

III. Change Should be Noticeable and fulfilling 明 顯 的 改 變
•Our attitude toward our time and money
•Our attitudes towards Worship & Praise
•Our attitude toward life - What is inside of You? Who do you think you are? (Identity)

a. 我們對時間和金錢 的態度
b. 我們對敬拜和讚美的態度
c. 我們自我的形象 - 你到底是誰呢?

Conclusion
•Kingdom Mindset => Kingdom Attitudes
•Imitate Christ – there is power in a Transformed Life!
•The change should be Noticeable and Fulfilling

Let us read the Beatitudes in the Message version….
Matt 5:3 "You're blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.
4"You're blessed when you feel you've lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.
5"You're blessed when you're content with just who you are—no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought.
6"You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God. He's food and drink in the best meal you'll ever eat.
7"You're blessed when you care. At the moment of being 'care-full,' you find yourselves cared for.
8"You're blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.
9"You're blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That's when you discover who you really are, and your place in God's family.
10"You're blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God's kingdom.
11-12"Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don't like it, I do!

Final Conclusion
The Purpose Test – we will only find our destiny by fulfilling our purpose predestined by God.
